Have you heard the story of the mermaid and the frog prince who fell in love in New Jersey? No? I’m not surprised, as they like to keep to themselves. But settle in, for once upon a time, things worked out… and they lived happily ever after. Just kidding. Everything went sideways, because of course. After all, no good book is without conflict, and every hero needs a messy arc. Possibly even a cliffhanger, or two nervous breakdowns in the span of hours, but who’s counting?

The problem? Once again, the fairy tale world has spiraled into crisis mode, like a summer blockbuster with CGI explosions and a plot that makes zero sense. The Quay are nasty, little impish nightmares with a taste for destroying worlds. These two rough-around-the-edges quasi-heroes must decide whether to return home and fight, and maybe tragically fail, or risk everything from the sidelines. If the Quay aren’t stopped in the fairy tale realm, Earth could be next.

Choices. Regrettable choices… what is a mermaid to do?
