Ten years ago, Lyric Monroe was abandoned on the side of the road by a so-called friend. With her phone on the verge of dying, she makes a desperate call that changes her life. Suddenly finding herself in Wildwood, New Jersey, Lyric ironically becomes the lyricist for the band Just Breathe. As the band begins to get noticed, Lyric finally has a home, friends, and a purpose.
 
There’s just one problem—actually, make that two, or in this case, a set of brothers. Lyric should know better than to want more with Galen and Rhett Martin, the founding members of Just Breathe. Working and living together blurs the lines… especially when the two frontmen are singing her words almost nightly.
 
What happens next is scandal-worthy, but it wouldn’t be the first for Miss Monroe.
