Snow White is trying to kill Scarlett Black, so Scarlett goes into hiding. Life isn’t terrible, despite an imposter on the throne. She owns a popular nightclub and has the gift of foresight, which comes in handy when a faux-queen wants her dead. Too bad, the world is going to end. Perhaps a true hero would stay and fight, but Scarlett opts for a dramatic exit to Earth before all fairy tales disappear… along with the Snow White problem.
If there were an award for starting over, Scarlett would have a case overflowing with trophies. So there's not much incentive for Ms. Black to do the right thing, except for that itty-bitty nagging voice. What’s it called? Ah, yes… a conscience. And Scarlett’s conscience is insisting she retrieve a magic book that could restore what was lost.
Does Scarlett take the chance? Even if she can save the fairy tale world, the emboldened Snow White still has a hatchet to grind—and an unhealthy desire to unalive our protagonist. Honestly… where is a poisoned apple when you need one?
